Domaine Jean Fournier – Marsannay blanc Cuvée Saint-Urbain 2023 VDP.Große Lage The chalky soils and exposedThe "Cuve Saint Urbain" showcases the particularly precise and mineral side of Marsannay blanc. The lime rich soils in the north of the Cte de Nuits lend the Chardonnay a cool tension and a clear, straightforward structure. Jean Fournier deliberately works in a terroir driven manner with very restrained vinification, which makes the wine incredibly transparent and lively. The 2023 vintage is open and energetic, yet calm and harmoniously structured.
